This type of macaroni is thin and short and is often used for soups both in our and in Spanish cuisine. Very often, however, the traditional seafood dish is also prepared – Fideuà. Influenced by Italian culture, and in Uruguay, they have adopted various pastas as an important part of their culinary tradition. However, the Gnocchi have a special place – on the 29th of each month a resident of the country must eat the potato pasta. This comes from an old Italian tradition, according to which every Sunday is a day for making tempting pasta.
