Instructions

  1. Fry the meat in the oil over medium high temperature for 5 minutes and drain the excess fat.
  2. Add the broth and the pasta sauce and stir.
  3. Place one layer of lasagna and push it in the sauce. Mix the ricotta, ½ cup mozzarella, garlic, salt and pepper.
  4. Pour half of the mixture over the lasagna in the pan and place another layer on top, while you keep pushing the pieces in the sauce. Repeat and finish off with a final lasagna layer and adjust it slightly to make sure that all sheets are covered with mixture.
  5. Let the mixture boil and after that place a lid over it, lower the heat and let it simmer for 15 min.
  6. Remove the lid, add the rest of the mozzarella and place it in place again for another 5 min.
  7. Let the lasagna cool down and sprinkle with basil and parmesan.
