Do you ever have the feeling that you you can eat a huge amount of pasta in seconds? We do too of course. The truth is that after a few bites the hunger calms down and our mood returns to the normal. However, there are a lot of people around the world who would like to prepare a huge amount of pasta or to consume a whole serving portion  in just a few seconds. If you’ve ever had difficulty turning the spaghetti around your fork, imagine how you would feel, knowing that someone brings you spaghetti almost 4km long! Yes, such a pasta is prepared. The world record was made in 2010 in Japan, and though difficult, the dish was cooked.

It is known that there are many different pasta shapes, and many of them are extremely beautiful! Perhaps that is why the idea of macaroni jewelery was born. In 2013 a record was set for the fastest creation of a pasta necklace. It’s about penne, the items are stacked together and the “jewel” is ready in only 39 seconds.

Does all your family eat spaghetti? No matter how many generations you gather around the table, you will hardly improve the Guinness World Records for the largest number of people tasting pasta. It was realized in November 2017 and the event included 348 people. They tried farfalle, penne and spaghetti with very tempting sauces.

Enviable feeding speed

In order to fully enjoy the delicious food, we should eat slowly. Despite this fact, there are admirers of the lightning-fast emptying of the dish full of pasta! Did you know that you can eat a plate with spaghetti in just 27 seconds? This record was set in September 2017 by the American person Michel Lesco.

Lasagna for a whole football team … at least

The largest prepared lasagna so far weighed about 4 tons and was created in Poland in 2012. It used about 800 kg of minced meat and 400 kg of mozzarella. The impressive dish was inspired by the European Football Championship in 2012 and was cooked in the city where the Italian team was housed. We are almost confident that a delicious temptation can save all the participants in such a race!
