- Sear the cubed bacon in a deep frying pan at average temperature. Stir for about 5 minutes in order not to burn.
- Add the onion and stew for about 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with red pepper and add the tomatoes.

- Boil the linguine in a large pot of salted water.
- Strain after removing from the water.
- Sprinkle the pasta with the basil, mix all ingredients and serve the Linguine Amatriciana with grated Parmigiano on top.
