1. Put the pasta in a pot.
  2. Add the onion, cut into half moons.
  3. Add the broth, tomatoes and olive oil.
  4. Season with finely cut basil, garlic, oregano, salt and black pepper. Cover and bring to a boil.

After that remove the cover and cook the pasta for another 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with sprinkling of olive oil, grated Pecorino cheese and – to taste – finely cut fresh basil.
